Tuitions and contributions
From the summer semester of 2007 until the summer semester of 2013, universities charged so-called "tuition funds" of up to €500 per semester. But why was there so much talked about tuitions instead of tuition funds? Why were they introduced? Why were most Student Representations, including the TUM Student Council, against the fees? How were they abolished? And what changes for us students now that they have been abolished?
