Environmental Lecture Series
The Environmental Lecture Series is an interdisciplinary, public series of lectures by the Environmental Department of the Student Representation of the Technical University of Munich. It is organized by students of the TU Munich on a voluntary basis.
Since 1985, speakers have been giving lectures on e.g. technical environmental protection, health, consumer and climate protection. It offers both students and teachers at the TU Munich, as well as the non-university public, the opportunity to get information about current ecological topics and research results at a scientific level.
The speakers from research, associations, authorities, nature conservation organizations and companies will be pleased to answer questions from the audience after the lecture; the lectures themselves are offered on the website - accessible to all - for downloading as PDF files, as far as they do not contain copyright-protected information.
Within the more than 30 years of its existence, almost 500 lectures (status: end of summer semester 2016) have been organized. The Environmental Lecture Series is now part of the TU's regular range of lectures and supported by the management of the TU Munich, the Carl von Linde Academy and the KHG of the TU Munich.
The Environmental Lecture Series is a partner of the BNB, the “Bavarian Sustainability Alliance”. In addition, some lectures are held in cooperation with the Environmental Academy and the Munich Sustainability Forum.
On the homepage of the Lecture Series (rivo.fs.tum.de) you will find all current details about this event.
