Department for the Fachschaftenrat

The Fachschaftenrat (FSR) is a kind of parliament of the student councils and the highest inter-faculty student body. Each of the currently 18 student councils sends representatives to the meetings, which usually take place every three weeks. Depending on the number of students, the student councils have a different number of votes. The student council discusses topics that affect students across all faculties, such as tuition fees, the semester ticket or the Deutschlandstipendium scholarship. In addition, applications for financial resources or for the loan of AStA technology can be submitted to the student council. The meetings are open to the public and every student has the right to submit motions and speak. You can find more information about the student council here.
