Student Representatives of the Student Council Forest Science and Resource Management
Here, you find the representatives of our student council, currently elected by the Bavarian Higher Education Act (BayHSchG), and all those who are otherwise involved in various areas. They are your first contact if you have any questions or suggestions regarding university policy or want to get involved in the student council.
The 14 representatives consist of students from the B.Sc. Forest Science and Resource Management, M.Sc. Forest and Wood Science, and M.Sc. Sustainable Resource Management degree programs. They represent your interests in the study program and examination committees, as well as in the School Council and TUM Student Council (FSR). They organize parties, maintain contact with other university groups, and organize activities that benefit the department's students.

FSR: "Fachschaftenrat" = Der Fachschaftenrat ist eine Art Parlament der Fachschschaften. Er ist das höchste überfakultäre studentische Gremium. Dieses trifft sich ungefähr alle drei Wochen. Im Fachschaftenrat werden fakultätsübergreifende Themen, die die Studierenden betreffen, diskutiert. Dazu gehören z.B. die Studiengebühren, das Semesterticket oder das Deutschlandstipendium. Die Sitzungen des Fachschaftenrats sind öffentlich und jeder Studierende hat Antrags- und Rederecht.

Student Council Weihenstephan (SCW)

SCW: "Student Council Weihenstephan" = Der SCW ist das Gremium, in dem die Fachschaften vom Campus Weihenstephan sich untereinander über hochschulpolitische Themen wie Berufungsverfahren, Organisation der Lehre u.ä. austauschen und wo gemeinsame Anträge an den Fakultätsrat abgesprochen werden. Des Weiteren koordiniert er die Hochschulwahlen, moderiert die Erstsemsterbegrüßung, organisiert die WZW-Erstsemsterparty und unterstützt studentische Initiativen finanziell.
